Interior
Modern-Shed offers a variety of ceiling and wall liners to fit the needs of our clients. Our standard Modern-Shed ceiling is made with 3/8-inch sanded plywood.
You can choose to insulate and cover the wall framing yourself or have your Modern-Shed come from the factory with pre-insulated walls with your choice of interior paneling. (interior paneling is applied on-site.. but the window openings are pre-cut)

- 3Form® recycled resin panels ( great way to accent a wall)
Exterior
Modern-Shed offers five types of siding for the exterior of your structure
- Modern Open Joint -- utilizing James Hardie® cement board 12” panels with stainless screws as a true rain screen.
- James Hardie® lap siding for typical siding applications (including Tyvek house wrap).
- 6” tight-knot cedar vertical channel groove
- 4” clear Western Red cedar v-groove (vertical or horizontal)
- Painted or galvanized corrugated metal
The Hardie siding can be painted in standard or custom Benjamin Moore® colors or can be left unpainted for you to finish. The cedar can be un-finished or finished at our factory with Benjamin Moore Arbor Coat. Siding types can be combined to show your creative side!
Windows and Doors
Modern-Shed offers a diverse selection of window and door sizes, with three different types of window framing options:
- Ply Gem Pro 700 or Premium 1000 vinyl framing
- Milgard® Energy Star thermally enhanced aluminum framing
- Milgard® Ultra™ Series fiberglass framing
All in assorted colors! We offer several framing types in order to meet the building code and permit requirements of a client’s area, in addition to meeting the tastes and needs of our clients.
