Floor System
Highest quality 3/4 inch ACX sanded plywood sub-floor is flooring ready.
Pressure treated plywood sheathed to the underside seals out moisture, insects, animals and prevents rot over time.
4x10 pressure treated perimeter beams create a "nest" for the individual panels and eliminates the need for a full foundation.
Can be slab or ground direct contact.
16-inch-wide panels result in two joists every 16 inches; strong enough for a piano or exercise equipment.
Standard R21 batt insulation within 2x6 panels.
Wall Panels
Wall panels are generally 48 inches wide so the building takes shape rapidly with minimal disruption to the homeowner.
Quicker dry-in gets the lumber out of the weather much faster than typical construction processes.
Walls can be fabricated using 2x4 with R13 or R15 insulation or 2x6 with R21 depending on customer needs or requirements
Our panelization and pre-fabricated process creates wall framing that exceeds typical code requirements and is considerably stronger than standard 16-inch-on-center stud framing.
Roof System
15-inch wide panels with 2x6's rafters and R38 rigid foam insulation are sheathed with high quality 1/2-inch ACX plywood creating easy and quick installation.
Designed and engineered to handle significant snow loads. The pre-insulated, roof panels with pre-installed ceiling liner, of pine or tight knot cedar means the roof is in place and finished, all in one procedure.
High quality ice and water shield (not tar paper) underlayment comes standard on all Modern Sheds providing a maximum Moisture barrier in all conditions
Electric al ceiling chases in every panel allow ceiling lights or a fan in almost any location.
